About DevOfCodes
I'm Max Wahlgren, a software engineer based in San Diego. I spent seven years building internal tools and systems across enterprise operations, progressing from analyst to senior engineer while watching the same friction play out on every team past a certain size.
It wasn't one moment. It was a slow accumulation — the architectural decision that lived in a Slack thread nobody could find, the new developer who spent weeks reconstructing context that already existed somewhere but not anywhere retrievable, the sprint retrospective where everyone agreed on the problem and nobody could trace it back to a decision. Below ten people these things don't matter. Past fifteen, they compound.
The AI tools that came along didn't fix it. They added a chat interface on top of ticket titles and called it intelligence. And every one of them locked you into a single provider — paying a premium for a model that wasn't the best option six months later, with no clean path to switch.
I built DevOfCodes to close that gap. Falcon is project management built specifically for 10–30 person engineering teams, with an AI layer that draws from real organizational context — every sprint, every decision, every contributor — and lets you configure or swap the underlying model as the landscape changes. It's built on a production-grade multi-tenant architecture because the engineers I'm building for would see through anything less.
DevOfCodes is currently working directly with a small number of founding customer teams who want direct access to the roadmap and are willing to trade honest feedback for half-price forever.
